What do you think of the name Deva?  It's pronounced just like 'diva', which could be a turnoff for some. But I just love the meaning (divine, shining one).

I like it. And I also like Diva because of a girl I once knew. She was the coolest. And I never remembered the connotations it comes with. But I know there are those who would, so I would never use it.

I've been a fan of the Like since I was 15...so when they were 15. Before they put out their first EP.

I actually had a HUGE stash of Z pictures and pics of the Like. Like some really rare stuff. And I was going to share it with your community but last week my computer crashed and I lost them. I'm going to say over 500 pics. I almost cried.

seriously, haha. i started my collection right when i found out about them. i had pics of some of their very first concerts and one at a party where Mary Kate Olson was biting a hooker's leg. Have you seen that one? I had some of a modeling session Z did recently (in a bra..scandalous! haha) and I can't find it online!

Not a fan. A name like that has a lot of attitude already associated with it and people will think well if her name is Deva then she must be one. I actually like Divine better for a name because Di is a very workable nickname.

I like the meaning, but the look just puts me off. 1.) because diva (at least to me) usually has a pejorative meaning, and 2.) the DEV part of just makes me think of Devil. I much prefer Neva or Dinah that have the same basic sound, but a different spelling.
