I was looking at birth announcements and stumbled upon what may be the worst name I have ever seen in my 25 years of existence. Best part, it was a mother's name, not a newborn's:
I don't understand how she could possible explain that. I mean, some people can say, "eh, my parents were hippie's", "I think my parents may have been on drugs", "my dad put my name down on the birth certificate before my mom knew what happened..." But THIS...
I googled it to see if it was a legit name, and funny thing: White Pages (http://names.whitepages.com/first/Shavodka) says there are 11 Shavodka's in the US! ;)
