Do you know of a feminine form of Joel?

My grandfather was called Frank Joel, and whilst I love the name and would want to honour his name in the birth of my future children, but I don't want to simply copy the name, I don't think my dad would like it if I did that either.  Frances and Francine are both really pretty feminine versions of Frank, which made me think that it would be lovely to honour a daughter with his name.  But I am stuck for feminising Joel.

The obvious is Joelle, which, to be honnest, I think is horrid.  It's too much like Noelle, which I think is a completely contrived name.  And now I think on it, isn't Joelle contrived too?

The only other one I could think of was Jolene.  Not quite the same as Joel, but then Frances and Francine aren't exactly like Frank either.  I have no idea if Jolene has similar meanings to Joel.  Frances Jolene is nice, although Jolene is more American than English.  But Francine Jolene obviously doesn't work.

Other than that, I am stuck!  Do you have any more thoughts?

What about Jolie? It's similar, but definitely feminine.

I would say names that begin with Jo- would work. Joely is probably the closest. I think Jocelyn, Josephine, and Josette would work too...

Jolene is ok. I have an aunt named Jolene so I probably just associate it with bad things.

What about a "Joe" name such as Josephine, Josie, Joey, Jocelyn, Joanna, etc.

Baby names world suggested:
Joeley/Joely/Jolie/Jolea
Jolly/Jollie
Joela

Also, what about Leo? (the last part of Joel spelled backwards)

Well... I'm not really sure how Noelle and Joelle are any more contrived than other feminine versions of male names... in fact, I think 'Joelle' is the closest you're going to get to a feminine version of Joel. Joelle to me sounds less contrived than Jolene. Joelle is actually a feminized version of Joel, whereas Jolene is just Jo + lene.
