The name of Jim and Pam's baby!



Cecilia Marie Halpert

What do you think? I was pleasantly surprised. I couldn't think of what kind of name would fit a baby Halpert, but when Jim announced it I thought it was pretty much perfect. Very pretty and classy and them, without being overly-unique or weird.

Just a note, on the Baby Blog it's spelled Cecelia. I don't know if that's supposed to be the "official" spelling or what. I do prefer the Cecilia spelling though.

But yeah, I like it a lot. I feel like Marie is a bit of a cop-out but it's not a big deal. (I'm rationalizing it in my mind as wanting it to start with the same letter as Pam's middle name. :P ) I do think it's very them. :)

It's not a name I really enjoy, but I do think it's cute that the baby is named after Jenna Fischer's real niece (http://tvwatch.people.com/2010/03/05/spoiler-the-office-how-jim-and-pams-baby-got-its-name/) who was born the week they shot that episode.
