That name will never be a name for me. It's the country I'm from xD

harriet is adorable. not my style, but it's seriously too cute.

dunny about hally though. I've only seen it (and other spellings) as the full name.

I have a friend named Hallie, which is short for Halliwell. It was her mother's maiden name.

Hally could also be a nn for:
Helena
Hailey/Hayley/Haley
Hallifax :P

Ooh, Hally short of Helena is a good idea. Hally short for Hayley, though... that's like Timmy short for Tommy.

I really like Hallie short for Halliwell! I guess Halliwell works for me a girl's name because of the Halliwell sisters on Charmed...

Harriet is the only name I can think of for Hally to be a nn. I prefer Hattie or Harryo as a nn, though. Hally seems a bit too masculine.

I love Harriet. It's totally adorable!

I don't know about full names for Hally, but I like Harriet nn Hattie.

I love Harriet. I might use it some day but probably not because it's too matchy with my son's name.

I think Hally could be a nn for Harriet or Henrietta, since Hal is a nn for Henry and both Harriet and Henrietta are feminine forms of Henry... it's roundabout but it works. Hal is also a nn for Harold, so... Haroldine?? Honestly, I think Hally works better on its own. (Though I prefer Hallie.)

I'm not a big fan of Harriet, but I don't absolutely hate it. Hattie is adorable.
