Names that rule out other names

Kasia is my second favorite girls' name, but it rules out two other names that I absolutely love: Kate and Sasha (for a boy).

I also love both the names Evie and Ivy.

Colin, Callum, Caleb and Calvin (there are some mixes that aren't too close in there...like Colin and Caleb aren't too bad together, but you get the picture)

Eleanor, Elizabeth and Eloise

Kasia is my MIL's name (well, Katarzyna) - both my husband and I love it and would like to name a possible future daughter after her.
If we have a boy, we plan on naming him Alexander, nn Sascha, because I LOVE the name Sascha.
Our daughter's name is Eva, nn Evie. :)

Sometimes I wonder if all of our Beatles reference names rule each other out (Jude, Lucy, and Eleanor), but then at other times I love the idea of using them all.

I happen to love the "elle" sound. My top girl name is Isabel, which rules out Elle, Ellie, Gabrielle, Annabel, Elizabeth, Ella, etc.

Hmm.. I really like both Alexander and Alexandra, but Alexandra is my number one girl's name, so I think I'd use that over Alexander.

I also really like both Elaina and Layla, but I'm afraid the 'lay' part is too similar.

I also like both Lucy and Lucia.

I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of any at the moment.
