What are your favorite spellings for Mackenzie? I think it's kinda cute, but I don't really like the "Mac", because it reminds me of a Big Mac from McDonalds. So, what are some alternative spellings that people won't run from screaming?

McKenzie, maybe? There are no good alternative spellings, especially if you're looking for something like Mykynzie.

Bingo.
First names shouldn't have prefixes.

If I was going to use the name (which I wouldn't, because I don't like it and it's outdated), I'd spell it McKenzie because that is the name of a river near where I grew up.

I hate the name, but I would just go with Mackenzie, in spite of the "mac" thing. That's how the name is pronounced... people will still probably call her [him?] "Mac" or even "Big Mac".
I guess McKenzie is okay, but no thanks.

Sort of OT, but my co-worker's granddaughter is named Mackenzie, and her older (3 y/o) brother started calling her "Mac", then "Mac-a-boo", and now just "Boo". Now [almost] everyone calls her Boo. My co-worker thinks it's horrible, though. Haha.

Mackenzie is the only spelling I like. McKenzie would be tolerable, but emphasises the surname aspect too much. I've liked Mackenzie for quite a while. I think it's really handsome.

Honestly, your best choice is to just go with MacKenzie, maybe McKenzie if the Mac thing bothers you that much. Or you could go with a similar alternative, such as McKenna.

I'm not a fan of either on girls, personally.
