What are your opinions on
Ruve
?
And do you think it's better on a boy or a girl?

I've never heard that before. What are its orginis?
Personally, I don't like it...I'm pronouncing it like 'roof'.

No idea on the origins. I can't even remember where I heard it, I just discovered it written down in my phone's baby name list.

Never heard it, but it sounds boy to me.
Not really basing it on anything.

Is it Roov or Rue-vee?
If its Rue-vee I think it sounds too much like Roofie (date rape drug)
If its Roov it's alright, but not something I would choose. Sounds like a male name though.

It's hard to muster an opinion past the massive WHAT THE HECK? But maybe that's just me.

It sounds like it would be a masculine name to me. Though I think it could work as a middle name, it's not something I'd ever use as a first name.

I have never heard it before, so I don't really have any opinions; it doesn't strike me as something I would use. I think it'd work better on a girl.

Rube was the name of Mandy Patinkin's character on Dead Like Me. He was funny.

I don't like it, so I would say neither gender... but male if I had to pick.

Never heard it, but I hate it. Sounds more male.
