Hi =)

I've joined this community because I've always liked names - when I was younger I named practically all my toys - dolls, stuffed animals... I really enjoy playing with name combos and I'm a member of a baby names forum. I also tend to think carefully of names when I'm writing a story/fanfiction.
Although English is not my first language my very favorite names are all English and I would love to name my kids that... even though I probably won't. =(




Girls: Ava, Emmeline, Scarlett, Juliet, Clara, Madeleine, Aurora, Alice, Lily, Violet, Emma, Charlotte, Coco (many people don't like it but I think it's very delicate and sophisticated)

Boys: Alexander, Benjamin, Noah, Luke, Elijah, William, Evan, Ryan, Aiden, Liam, Jack, Gabriel, Michael


ETA: I forgot to add Emilie, Grace, Cecily and Anna to my list of favorite girl names. =D I really like Isabella too, it used to be one of my favorites, now not so much but I still think it's gorgeous. ^_^

English isn't my first language either but there are so many beautiful English names. My fav boy name is Jack. It's just beautiful but it would be strange to name futur son Jack since I live in Germany.. it would be weird.

I like your girl names. Ava, Clara, Lily and Charlotte are the best ones.
Your boy names are nice, too, especially Elijah, Ryan, William, Noah, Luke and Jack.

Yep, I know exactly what you mean... I'm portuguese and it would be too weird to name a daughter born there Ava or Emmeline... so I guess I would have to give birth in the US or another English speaking country so that the child could be registered =P

I love ALL of your boys names - Luke and Liam are definites for me when it comes to naming my kids and Ryan, Elijah, Noah, Benjamin, and Gabriel are on my "possible" list.

I like Ava, Juliet, and Alice, and Lily's okay, too. Not a fan of Coco (makes me think of a pet cat or something, haha), Scarlett, or Violet but the rest are okay (just not my style).

I think Coco is cute, but would use it as a short form of a more formal name like Corinne, Caroline, or something like that. (Welcome to the babynames group, by the way!)

My first name is Emily, my middle name is Grace, and my last name is Coco. I've never seen ALL my names on one person's list! I love it.

I LOVE your names. My faves are:

Ava, Scarlett, Juliet, Lily, Violet, Emma, Charlotte, Emilie, Alexander, Benjamin, Noah, Luke, William, Ryan, Aiden (as Aidan), Jack, and Gabriel. I'm not too fond of Coco, but that's because it makes me think of "I'm cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cocoa_Puffs)!". If you don't live in the US, though, you probably won't have to worry about that connotation. ;)

Yep, that's one advantage. ^_^ But I could never name my daughter Coco in my country too, because 'coco' with a different accent or just 'coco' would be taken as... a pretty traumatizing word for the child. :|

I like all of your girl names except Alice and Lily. I think Coco would be a pretty nickname. Aurora reminds me of the Aurora case(http://ufos.about.com/od/bestufocrashcases/p/aurora.htm) but I still think it's a pretty name.
Ava Charlotte is especially pretty to me.

I like all of your boy names except Liam. I especially love Aiden and Gabriel.
