My cousin and his girlfriend are due to have their baby any day now.  I just found out a couple of days ago what they're going to name their little boy:

Cayden Kenneth

ugh. :(  I can't say I really expected much better from them, but so far my family had avoided the whole -ayden mess, so it's a little disappointing.  At least the middle name is nice, after our grandfather, Kenneth, who passed away a little over a year ago.

I think I just said it a couple days ago in here: Cayden is my least favourite of those names. I think it's so ugly. And Kenneth...well, I know some Kennys, and they're all the same type of guy and it's not good.

Funny, I have noticed the same phenomenon among my acquaintances/relatives

It's the 'y' in there that ruins it for me. As much as I dislike -aden and -ayden names, the name would at least look a lot less uglier spelled 'Caden.' I do like Kenneth, however. One of my best friends is a Kenneth, and I know someone who named their recent baby Evan Kenneth (also after a grandfather).
