Maybe it's a nickname from Bridget?

Well, I'm assuming it's a European/German magazine? I don't hate it. I doubt it's actually pronounced like the English 'bridge'. Perhaps it's a derivative of Bridget or Bride?

If it was a German name, it would be pronounced BRID-gÉ™ I think. I'd guess it's a nn for Brigitta. Looks kind of funny in English, though. Although I've heard of a boy named Bridger, so...

it reminds me of brighde, which is irish, and is pronounced breeze-ja, hard to describe. its pronounced like the flower freesia, but with a b at the beginning instead. i love it. just wondering if its a nickname.
