OMG, I am totally watching that too! CRAZY name! I love the first daughter's name "Sophia" but Amanda doesn't seem to match. And I totally agree about the too many M's and A's!

I don't really like it. I like Amanda Michelle though.

I dont know how the last name is pronnounced, but it LOOKS like a close rhyme: aMANda mamMANa. It's probably Mamuhnuh, though. ugh. there's someone i know who wants to name her neext kid oksana roxanne. i'm like, can't you hear that those two names RYHME. she insists they don't becuase it's auk-sauna (middle vowel pronounced like the o in blonde) rox-aanne (aa as in stan). riiight. :P

your friend is right, i wouldn't say oksana and roxanne rhyme. it's the "ks" and "x" sound that gets me.

no no, you're right. they way she pronnnounces them, they don't rhyme (though still sound very similar). but people will pronnounce them so they rhyme. to me, it's essentially like naming a kid the same name twice, only the first letter is missing on one name, and the last letter is missing on the other name.

lol I guess she and I pronounce them the same way, too. it all depends on where you live and where you were educated, etc.

Amanda and Mammana definately don't go well together at all, Michelle is fine though.

I don't mind alliteration in naming.

Heee that last name makes me laugh. Mammana. I could have so much fun with that last name.

Amanda Mammana sounds like a nickname you would use for a little girl.. like 'Anna Banana'... lol

I like Amanda Michelle, but not with that last name... it sounds too weird and it's a mouthful.
