My son was watching wrestling last night and I saw a sign in the audience... Eyan. I just had to shake my head.
Saw another one the other day that made me do the same thing... Raynah.

Why do people do these things to their children? It's not unique, it's burdonsome!

I totally agree. If you spell Abigail as Abbygayle, it'll still sound the same as all the other Abigails names when you call it out. And then she has to go through life spelling out her name for everyone. Bad idea.

i dont even understand eyan. is it supposed to be ian? because looking at that, i would pronounce it eye-in.

Raynah sounds really pretty; it just needs a nicer spelling.

Yeah, probably. I've never seen the name before, so I wasn't sure what the correct spelling would be.

Raynah is on our list. Except it would be Reyna. :)

I saw that sign. I didn't even think it could say Eyan, my brain protected me and I saw "Evan" as in Evan Bourne (the wrestler). Hehe, oops.

When I first saw Eyan, I thought "you know, that's kinda cool. ay-en." then I realized it was supposed to be Ian.

I knew a guy named Eion when I was younger.

Ian is an incredibly ugly name and IMO Eyan is a BIG improvement.

I had a childhood friend whose brother was named Eyan.
