[identity profile] pinkysmith.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames

Even though I'm not expecting to get pregnant any time soon I'd love your input and help.  My mother's name is Rose (actually Rosemary but she changed it to Rose) and if I ever had a girl I'd like to honor her somehow/someway in my daughter's name.  I'm just not sure how to do that.  What combos do you like with Rose?

Rose is one of those names that goes pretty well with almost anything if you use it as a middle name. Some that I thought of off the top of my head:

Alison Rose
Caitlin Rose
Diana Rose
Eleanor Rose
Gemma Rose
Isabelle Rose
Jacqueline Rose
Jocelyn Rose
Madeleine Rose
Olivia Rose
Sarah Rose

I believe you should use the exact name to honor someone. I think Rose is a wonderful name. My favorite Rose combos are:
Rose Bethan
Rose Keturah
Rose Mairéad
Rose Olivette
Rose Shoshannah
Rose Virginia

Rose goes really well as a middle name with just about anything, but as a first name, I think it goes great with:

Rose Charlotte
Rose Eleanor
Rose Adrienne
Rose Isadora
Rose Georgia
Rose Virginia
Rose Caroline

I think it should go with a middle name that has 2 or more syllables
