Alena looks like ah-lay-nah or ah-leh-nah. Even Alyna looks like ah-lynn-ah. I think it's better to use the orignal spellings because you're going to have pronunciation problems either way, but at least most people know that Elena is eh-lay-nah and Alina is ah-lee-nah.
Are you saying I am dumb for not knowing about this and that everybody else does? Besides I wouldn't spell Alayna like that anyway because I am not prounouncing like that, I am prounouncing it a-lane-nah, not eh-lay-nah. And I spell it how it's pronounced no let me refraise that how it should be prounounced, and it's not my fault my biological grandmother spell Alyna that way so yeah. And Alena does not look that all! Infact I know a woman who named her daughter that and spelled it Alena. I just like names that are spelled the way they should be prounounced. You probably know the name Lena, well and the letter A, so put that together and you get Alena. Get it now?
