Feb. 14th, 2010 04:01 pmMy sister is having a baby girl in June and we have been discussing names for months! We're really into unusual names that are not too out there. We like the kind of names where you say... Oh, that's unusual but still acceptable in today's society.
The biggest issue we've run into in the naming process is the fact that my sister lives in Honduras. She wants a name as acceptable in the U.S. as in Honduras. Her first choice was Natalia for a long time -it had always been one of her favorite names. She also wanted Chloe -a choice that would not work due to pronunciation issues in Honduras.
So right now we're going with Giana. Her potential full name would be Giana Camille Simon (pronouced SEE-Moan). What do you think? If you have any recommendations, I'd love to hear them! Also, what are some other middle names that would go well with Giana?
Thanks guys! And Happy Valentine's Day for those celebrating! <3

Date: 2010-02-14 10:32 pm (UTC)I love month names, though I don't know how my sister feels about them. She's completely obsessed with Giana at the moment. It's Italian, which she likes too.
