My husband and I just had a baby girl 3 months ago and after much deliberation named her Chloe LaRae. Since I got to pick the middle name and vetoed his first 1st name choice he wants full choice on our second child if its a girl. He wants the 1st name of Delilah (Lila for short).

LaRae is a middle name that is mine and my aunts as well (so a family name)
He wants Nicole for a middle name. No real reason other than "I think it sounds good"

Delilah Nicole

I dont hate it but I think there could be better options. So if You HAD to pick middle name for Delilah what would you cho0se?

Nicole is one of those names that, yes, "sounds good," but you should point out the fact that it sounds good to millions of parents. It's very much a filler name like Marie, Michelle, and Renee- it goes with everything and is way over-used. If you want, you could direct him to my old post of my graduating class found here (http://community.livejournal.com/baby_names/3064327.html).

I think that Delilah DOES sound good with iambic middles (such as Nicole, Marie, Michelle, and Renee), but there are plenty of beautiful combinations that are far less common:
Delilah Adele
Delilah Camille
Delilah Cecile
Delilah Celeste
Delilah Celine
Delilah Christine
Delilah Clarice
Delilah Elise
Delilah Inez
Delilah Kathleen
Delilah Lenore
Delilah Lisette
Delilah Lorraine
Delilah Louise
Delilah Lucille
Delilah Odette
Delilah Patrice
Delilah Selene
Delilah Simone
Delilah Siobhan
Delilah Therese
