Do you like the name Diana?

Yes. It's very pretty yet strong, and I think it grows well.

I don't like it very much but it's not a bad name. It just isn't for me.

I like when it's pronounced Dee-ana...

That. In my language, that would be the correct pronunciation. It's one of my favorite names.

Yes, same! That's how we pronounce it here, too.

Not especially, though it's not terrible.

I love it, but I'm biased because it's my mom's name. :)

I love it, unfortunately I associate it with someone who I don't much care for.

Isn't it terrible when annoying people ruin a perfect name?

Dang it, I hate meeting less than pleasant Dianas, being one myself I always feel like saying "Give me my name back, you aren't worthy of having it as a name!"

I actually really, really like it, plus I'm a big Wonder Woman fan so it's an added bonus for me that it's her name. However, my mom's name is Dianne and we have a bit of a contentious relationship so I can never use it.

Yes, very much so. My late godmother was named Diana and I always loved her name.

I am not a huge fan of it (have an awful step-aunt named Diane) but I like the mythological meaning of it :)

I've always loved Diana..not a fan of Diane. Although, I love it I don't think I'd ever use it personally.

Yes, I love my name ^^

Though people seem to insist of reverting it to Diane, something I've frequently lamented over with other Dianas.

Diana was my #1 favorite girls name growing up. I'm not sure why. Anne of Green Gables may have been a factor, but I loved it before then, too. I still like the name, but my tastes have shifted, on the whole. I would still love to use it as a middle, perhaps for Cordelia. I think of Diana as a name that is elegant but approachable, familiar to people but not everyone's sister's name, simple but pretty. (The only drawback is the nickname Di. Seriously, who wants to be called "Die"? If I was/had a Diana, I'd have to come up with a different nickname, like Dee or Dan.)

I also like Dinah and Deanna.

My family called me "Dine"

Hmm. That's an unusual one. I'm not sure I'd gravitate toward a nickname that's a synonym for "eat," but it's definitely better than Di/Die!

I wouldn't know how to spell it otherwise since it's made up, but that's pretty much how it's pronounced. it never sounds like the verb when they say it - remember, anything can be a nickname. Heck I've even been called Di before, and it just doesn't sound like "die". It all depends how it's used.

I love it, but I could be biased because my mom's middle name is Diane. I also have a friend named Diana May.
