A friend of a friend I came across on Facebook: Vyvyan

It actually took me a minute to realize that it's "kry8vve" way to spell Vivian/Vivien/Vivienne. Looks like she's about 15.

I hate it, personally. What do you think?

I don't care for it, but it's not "kry8vve". It was actually an archaic and utterly established (in fact, upper-crust) spelling for a boy, from the aristocacratic surname Vyvyan (heaps of Vyvyans died for King and Empire).

Plus it's the name of a character from one of the all-time British cult TV shows, which may be where the parents got it...

its different but my only problem with it is the visual problem. my eyes and brain don't know what to do with all those V's and Y's.
