[identity profile] mrsduryee.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
Some friends just added a baby to their family:

Scott and Camille have
Asher and Leah (mn Paige)

I really like Leah Paige. I wish I could remember Asher's middle name.

What do you think? Good names? Good sibset?

I love Leah Paige. I don't really like the name Leah but it sounds really good with Paige as a mn and if it were me I would always go by both names.

I think Asher and Leah go well together but what sounds even better is Asher and Paige. Oh well. LOL Paige is such a cute name. =D

I've always liked the name Leah & it sounds rather nice with Paige. I agree with the above comment that Asher & Paige sound better together, but Asher & Leah aren't a bad pairing in the least =)

I hate the name Paige and Leah is an "ok name", but together they are actually nice. In my accent (because we don't pronounce the "r" at the end of Asher) those kids' names sort of rhyme.... they both end in an "uh" sound

I love both Leah and Asher. I don't like Paige at all.

Those are good sibling names. Very classic. It's nice to see that my name is becoming popular.

Lee-ah or Lay-ah?

It's alright. I don't really judge in sibsets, though.

I liked Asher for a little while there.

oh I adore both those names and have plans on using both for my future children.
But do they say Leah as Lay-ah or Lee-ah?

that's cool.
but actually the Leah of Leah and Rachel is pronounced Lay-ah.

Minus the "Paige" bit, they make two very nice Jewish names. I think they go well together, although I am not one for matchy-matchy business - they're people, not "sibsets."

Oh, no, I wasn't directing my scorn of "sibsets" at you! Just the term. Sorry if it came across that way.

I adore Asher, and I really like Leah. I'm not too fond of Paige, but the combo is nice. Asher and Leah sound amazing together!
