I thought since we frequently have "sibsets" on here... we could have a "pet set" ... See what people think on pet names, since there is a lot of variety.  Some people like typical "pet" names like Boots and Shadow.. others prefer people names.. other prefer just weird. :D

I volunteer with an animal shelter, and the most common names for cats that are turned in are Kitty, Mama, and for black cats Shadow.

Some names we currently have that amuse me: Mylie and Cyrie, mother and daughter cats. and Kit Karina, f cat.

There are often so many "mama's" that we have to change some of their names.

Both my cats came from the shelter and were renamed. Their original names were Mama (now Jackson (F), nn Jackie), and Titan (now Charles, nn Charlie or Chuck)

My grandpa has had dogs and cats and always names them Missy. The only time his pet wasn't Missy is when he had two and the second one was Toby.

Other pets in the family are Samuel (nn Sam, Sammy, SamBlam, Slam - (m) cat), Daisy (nn Daisitron, (f) cat), Mozoe (cat, f), and Rugby (cat, m)
