I think Noa is kind of nice, but it was so popular here about 5 years ago that there are a ton of little girls called Noa walking around now - kinda like what Ava is in the US. It makes it boring for me.

I've heard Eliseo before, on a Mexican boy. I like the sound of Margot, but it's not really my style.

The Netherlands. I don't know how it happened, but somehow Noa for a girl just boomed here a couple of years ago.
As you can see here (http://www.svb.nl/int/nl/kinderbijslag/actueel/kindernamen/index.jsp), it's still in the top 20 at the moment. I suppose it makes a difference that Noah as a boy's name has never been very common.

yea. only one i like is margot.

although i know its a valid girls name, i am still thoroughly annoyed with noa, since noah is our #1/#2 boys name and its already popular enough on boys. sigh.

I don't hate the idea of Noa; at least they're spelling it right unlike those damn Cyruses...they kind of ruined it. I don't mind Landry, but oh my god, I just noticed, on a girl? No. Boy. Preferably an awesome one like on Friday Night Lights.

Yeah, the only one I like is Margot as well.

I know that Noa is legit, but I don't much care for it.

I like:
Kirill
Noa - surprising this isn't more popular in the US
Margot
Patricio

Octavius is cool, but it looks weird with the extra o in it.

I like Noa, it's a very pretty Hebrew name for a female. The only Noa I know is in high school now.

ETA: Noa is a biblical name completely unrelated to Noah, not some female variant of Noah. :)

Elisaveta is a form of Elizabeth. I kind of like it.

I like Landry on a character of sorts.

I like Margot, but the others made me facepalm.

I like Noa as Noah (m). And...that's pretty much it.

Huh. I just saw an Elisaveta on "Models of the Runway" (companion show to "Project Runway"). My first time seeing/hearing it, I remember thinking it was interesting and wondering where she was from.

I work with a guy called Aslan. It's actually a bona fide Turkish name which means lion.

I worked with a Kirill--I think it's a Slavic name.
