i agree that Laurence sounds like a boy's name - and i'm not fond. i prefer Lawrence :)

I actually have a soft spot for Laurence, with that particular spelling...on a boy. I'm curious as to how they even conceived of the name Larrivel, like what inspired it. A lot of the Google search results seem to be surnames, so maybe the mother's maiden name? There was one result of it used as a first name on Facebook, with an Hispanic last name, so I don't know. Hmm.

Yes, yes, that's her! and her sister! We were playing UNO on FB for some time at crazy hours last night and started chatting!
Through Google, I came to the same conclusions about it being a surname. But at first I thought she might have switched her first and last name around (some people seem to do that), because it made more sense that way. But then her sister's name told me that wasn't the case.

Haha, oops, it didn't even occur to me that that could be the same person. I don't know why, but I assumed that they were newborn twins.
