For those with a more limited attention span, please focus on the girls' names because we're more likely having a girl (they couldn't tell for sure during our ultrasound).

I realize that a lot of people like to sound out the names. Our last name is Spacey and I've used Grace several times as a middle name... I realize it's kind of bad, but Grace is an important family name on both sides and it's one of our middle name front-runners. If it's really too terrible to consider please let me know.

I don't think that Grace is too bad as a middle name with Spacey. I wouldn't recommend it for a first name, but a lot of times middle names aren't said a ton and their flow isn't as important as the first name--in my opinion, a middle name with meaning that doesn't flow ideally is just fine.

That said, my favorite of your girls' names is Lydia Marie Spacey.

Maybe choose two middle names and make Grace the first? That way it won't directly sit next to Spacey at any point. I.E. Charlotte Grace Louise Spacey.

That said, my favorite of your choices are Evelyn Grace and Laurel Theresa.

My favorite boys' name is Samuel Finnegan. I LOVE Finnegan, it's one of my favorites!

If Grace is a family name you'd like to use, then go for it. However, I do think AliCE GraCE SpaCEy is a little much. And one day, if she gets married it won't even matter. Plus, it's not like she'll be called by her full name very often anyway.

I'd probably stay away from all of the names with an "s" sound in them becuase it sounds a little repetitive, apart from Alice Theresa. So what you're left with are Alice Katherine, Alice Jane, and the one I think flows the nicest, Alice Marie.

The only ones that remotely bordered on dislike were Evelyn Grace, Nina Marie, Baxter and Warner. Excellent list! My thing with Evelyn Grace is those are the first and last names of my former administrator, who's in her 60s. Nina Marie is a little too cute sounding. Baxter and Warner sound too much like surnames.

Caroline Jane I totally love, since I've recently come to like Caroline and have wanted to use Jane as a middle name for a while. I also like Willa Frances.

I've known both a Carolyn and a Caroline, and their names were pronounced the same. Now, if I used Caroline, it would be pronounce with the long I sound.

i dont think grace is that bad as a middle. its not like youre naming her grace spacey. since it has meaning to you, i say go for it! :)

I really like Willa Grace too, until I realized that it sounded too much like Will and Grace :)
