My cousin, Sarah, and her husband, Sam, just had their second baby. A little girl named Ava Gabrielle, who joins big sister Olivia. Olivia and Ava aren't my style, but I think they're pretty names.

I think those are lovely names! There's nothing wrong with choosing popular names for your children.

And they're not my style because they're popular. They're just not names I've ever considered using (which I guess is a good thing now).

They were top 10 names for me, but I had relatives end up using them too! Btw that second sentence wasn't directed specifically to you, so I'm sorry if I sounded a bit feisty.

I'm a little worried about that too. Our girl names should be safe, but the boy names might be in jeopardy.

My friend has a daughter named Ava Gabrielle. It seems to be quite a popular combination!

I met a 2 year old and an infant this weekend with those names who are cousins. I think they're both really pretty.
