I prefer Elijah, but only a little. I think just Eli is nice, too. I know an Eli David and an Elijah Christopher.

Ugh is right. What's wrong with Emmeline? It looks much nicer. Spelled that way it looks too close to Emlyn, so it seems masculine.

I prefer Elijah nn Eli because Eli is too nicknamey to be a full name, I think. My nephew's name is Elijah nn Eli.

A friend from high school has two girls, one's named Emmylynne. It bugs me for several reasons. I keep thinking it should be a palindrome, but it isn't.
