I love Aerin for a girl... pronounced like Erin with a lil splash of A at the beginning.

I like the original spelling better. But it is kind of pretty and not too far out there.

I like this name too, spelled Aerin or Aeryn.

I like it. Doesn't really need the A in the beginning, but both ways look nice. :)

i like Aronelle or Aronel as a variation of Erin/Arin.

The name is nice, but I don't like randomly throwing an A in at the beginning.

It's more Air-in than Eh-rin. I know a lot of American/Canadian accents pronounce Aerin/Aaron/Erin the same.. but they are different to me.

I'm the same way. Erin does not sound like air-in to me at all (just as Kerry and Carrie are two completely different names to me). Putting the A in there would make it more like air-in to me.

I love it, too
(http://www.glyphweb.com/arda/a/aerin.html). link is for the Encyclopedia of Arda. Tolkien used the name, it's where I first saw it.
