They tried saying my husband's Danish last name was Scottish. Yeah, okay.

Mine was said to be Irish (hence my confusion lol) and my name form the Ukraine wasn't there.

Does it end in SEN (like 99.9% of Danish names)? Ours ends in SEN and they also like to say it could be German, too.

I'm sure you know SEN just means "son of" in Danish/Norwegian. How they get German out of that is beyond me...or Scottish.......
Gets my husband annoyed. Danes are very proud and don't like to be called anything else.

I thought you were in Denmark but turns out you live in Wisconsin. Why did all the Danes go to Wisconsin? :)

yes, i did know that! i think my last name means "son of jorgen" which probably gives away what my last name is. ;) i wish i was in denmark! i'd like to go there sometime and be with my "people" haha. ;)
