Love Walter and Bernard! My grandpa's name was Walter and I've considered using it. My other grandpa was Grant which I've also considered. I know a five year old Bernard (called Bernie) who is a character!

I actually don't mind any of those Isabel[le] spellings...they're all valid depending on which language you're speaking.

Isabelle

Walter and Bernard has to be the most old man-y sibset I've heard on not actual old men. Finale is horrible and Turkesha is ugly.

I prefer Isobel. No spelling of it is a name that I would ever use, but I like the look of the O more than the A.

Interesting to see Walter and Bernard on kids and newborns. Bernard is a nice name.

My preferred spelling is Isabelle--even if it may not be the original spelling of that name. I guess I like that spelling because it has the option of the nickname Belle (I've never been a fan of Izzie).

All three spellings are nice... I think Isabel works best for me, but it's pure personal taste.

not a fan of walter & bernard. they sound like two old men.

personally, I like Isobel the best, but that's probably because it seems like the least common spelling of the name.

Love Walter

Isabelle

Walter is a name I adore. Walt is such a cute nn

Isabel is my top girls name. I want is spelled this way because I want her to be called 'Isabel" rather than Belle or Bella and in some way hope the shortened version will help :P

I like Isabelle too, but it seems long and slightly princessy, which will not fit in with my potential sib names.

Isabel or Isabelle. I hate Isobel

I prefer Isabelle

Bernard!

And only isobel.

I prefer Isabelle or Isabel, but I really don't like the look of Isobel.

Walter and Bernard are AWESOME. Seriously, so cute. :)

I like Isabel the best, Isabelle second. Isobel is ehhh.

isabel. its the only spelling i like, because i hate the "belle/bella" thing with a passion and would never want my daughter called belle. so, the -bel ending avoids that, somewhat anyway. it used to be on my own list, and i guess it sort of is but it isnt high on the list anymore.

Walter and Bernard -- Dork-o-rama. Like to the cliche level. Walter might be do-able, but Bernard? Seriously?

Finale-- I'm guessing she's the youngest child.

Turkesha-- Ick.

My favorite spelling is Isabelle.

Walter and Bernard sound like old men, lol! I don't like either name, but I suppose they're better than all of those horrible made-up "names" that are being used nowadays.

Finale is bad, and Turkesha is... Wow, that's a really ugly name. D:

I prefer Isabelle.

Walter and Bernard? What is with this trend of giving babies old people names? The only people named Walter and Bernard I have ever met are all over age 80.

[identity profile] smasharash.livejournal.com 2010-01-10 09:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I prefer Isabel.
Isabelle seems toos flouncy and frilly and the extra letters are unecessary.

Isabel.
