Haven't been around in awhile...
Jan. 4th, 2010 09:28 am Hi everyone! I haven't been around here for a good long while. My favorites have changed a bit.
Felix
Simon
Natalie
Anna
Ellen
WDYT?
Middle name suggestions?
And an old friend of mine just had a baby: Lennon Hendrix Darcy Mc*****
IMO, the Lennon and Hendrix combo is a little too heavy on the musician naming. I actually like Lennon Darcy though.

Date: 2010-01-04 01:41 pm (UTC)Simon - Also nice. I like how neat and intelligent it sounds.
Natalie - Not a huge fan. It sounds too fluffy to me.
Anna - Alright enough, but I much prefer Anne.
Ellen - Very cute, but a nice grounded name.
Some mn suggestions:
Felix Benjamin, Felix Alfred, Felix Germain, Felix Walter, Felix Bernard
Simon Ambrose, Simon Christopher, Simon Richard
Natalie Frances, Natalie Genevieve, Natalie Rosemary
Anna Regina, Anna Maureen, Anna Pearl
Ellen Juliana, Ellen Saoirse, Ellen Scarlet, Ellen Bernadette
And I agree about your friend's baby. Lennon and Hendrix is too much in the same name. But Lennon Darcy is alright-- excellently hipster.

Date: 2010-01-04 02:32 pm (UTC)My cousin named her daughter Lennon. I've grown used to it but I don't think I'll EVER like it. I feel like it makes more sense on a boy. I agree about the Lennon/Hendrix combo. I think Lennon Darcy Mc**** would be better.

Date: 2010-01-04 06:04 pm (UTC)Felix - Always had a strong dislike for this name but hey, it's legit and all I just will never be able to see it on anyone but a funny looking black cat =P
Simon - Love it.
Natalie - Eh... not my style..
Anna - Love it.
Ellen - Like it enough but would never use it, I rather use Elena.

Date: 2010-01-04 06:30 pm (UTC)Simon--For some reason I really dislike this name, but I have no good reason. It's a nice name, I know this, I just hate it.
Natalie--It's okay. It's similar to my name (Natasha) so I can't outright hate it, but it's not my style.
Anna--I do like this name. Some people say it's too boring or overused but I think it's classic and beautiful.
Ellen--I don't like it, it seems dated.
Lennon Hendrix Darcy is just too much. Lennon Darcy would be much better.

Date: 2010-01-05 12:13 am (UTC)Felix Nathaniel, Felix Oliver, Felix Reilly
Simon - love. I'd use this if bub's surname didn't start with an 'S'
Simon Andrew, Simon Xavier, Simon Thomas, Simon Edward
Natalie - too 80's for me
Natalie Ann, Natalie Ruth, Natalie Rose (I think it sounds better with a short, one syllable middle name)
Anna - love. Simple, classic.
Anna Elizabeth, Anna Isabel, Anna Josephine, Anna Claire
Ellen - nms
Ellen Sophia, Ellen Harriet, Ellen Michelle
Lennon Hendrix Darcy Mc... is a cool name. Yes, a bit musical. I love love love Darcy.
