I say it uh-lee-sha. I don't really like Madeleine or Grace, the other names are okay. I like Evie the most out of them.

The only boy name listed that I like is Harvey(that's my son's name) The others aren't bad, I just don't like them.

I love all of your girls names. Alicia I would just ask the person how they say it, but if they weren't around to ask, I'd say "Uh-lee-shuh."

i like:

madeleine (love it but hate how popular its become)
amelia (see above)
lucy (sweet and fun)
evie (love it)
grace (too popular for me, so i used it on my cat)

james (great, classic, strong)
oliver (was my number one for a long time)

sorry i am not good at suggesting middles, because i think middles should have some meaning, not just be a name that "sounds good"

Madeleine - like
Amelia - eh... not sure hoe much I like it
Alicia - depends... in English I hate the name with that -shuh ending but in spanish I like it with the uh-lee-cee-uh pronunciation.
Lucy - I like it but it sounds too much like a nickname (partly because one of my close friends is named Lucia (ee-uh not -shuh) and we always call her Lucy)
Leila - not my cup of tea.
Evie - Nickname
Grace - eh... it's alright.

Lewis - hate the spelling.
Harvey - No.
Nicholas - Love
Zachary - eh... cute enough
James - Like a lot.
Oliver - Love

Madeleine - my favorite any Mad name, but not a big fan.

Alicia - uh-lee-sha. it sound a bit dated to me.
Lucy - cute, not a big fan though.
Leila - I like it.
Evie - I like it, but I'd like it more if it were a nickname for something.
Grace - I like it.

Lewis - not a fan.
Harvey - I think it's cool, but I don't like it. I know, it doesn't make sense to me either. haha.

Madeleine - I like it. Very elegant.
Amelia - I used to think this sounded bratty, but I've come around on it in the past year or so-- I think it's adorable.
Alicia - Dislike, I associate it with trashy people. I pronounce it a-LEESH-a instinctively, but I've known people who pronounce it a-LEE-SEE-a too.
Lucy - A little too cutesy and posh, but I kind of like it anyway.
Leila - Nice. It's really cute on a little girl, but still feels sophisticated for when she's older.
Evie - Love it as a nn, but I think it's much too cutesy, anonymous, and insubstantial to be a full name.
Grace - Beautiful, and a wonderful sentiment.

Lewis - Love it. It's so awesomely kind, handsome, and nerdy. I go back and forth between preferring this spelling or Louis.
Harvey - Excellent name. It has a neat vintage charm, and I can see it becoming more popular.
Nicholas - Great name. It's strong but warm, and it has a great scientific feel. It's also my husband's first name and son's middle name.
Zachary - Meh. It's sort of 80's-tastic to me, but I don't really care for it. I think it sounds too youthful.
James - I love it; I'd use it for a son. You can't get much more classic than this.
Oliver - Great name. It's gentle, warm, and intelligent.

I don't have time for a bunch of combos at the moment, but I do already have the combos James Mackenzie, James Evan, Oliver Desmond, Nicholas Aldo, and Nicholas Ian. I especially love my Nicholas combos.

I pretty much like them all, although I don't like Evie as a name on its own. I'd use it as a nickname for Evelyn, Evangeline, etc.

I pronounce Alicia 'Ah-LEESH-uh'.

Madeleine - I like it in theory but it's really overused in our area.
Amelia - I like it a lot.
Alicia (also let me know how you pronounce this as i'm not sure which spellings most appropriate) - Uh-leesh-uh. For me it's kind of dull and a little dated/80's. I like Alice better.
Lucy - Lovely but overused in our area. I prefer it as a nn for Lucille or Louisa.
Leila - I like it especially with this spelling.
Evie - I like it as a nickname for a longer name (Evelyn, Evangeline)
Grace - Wayyyy overused around here.

Lewis - I like it, reminds me of Lewis Carroll. However I prefer the nn Lou so maybe I'd pick the Louis spelling.
Harvey - It's cute but could go wrong depending on the kid.
Nicholas - Classic, like the "nick"-name. Common but doesn't feel stale.
Zachary - Ok. I like Zach/Zack.
James - Gentle and classic. I don't like Jimmy though.
Oliver - Great. I'd use it if it sounded good with our last name. Ollie is so cute for kids if Oliver sounds too mature.

Madeleine- It's alright.
Amelia- It's alright.
Alicia- I hate the name/pronunciation Alisha. When I see this name, I automatically think Uh-lee-see-uh (like in Spanish), which I don't really like either, but certainly like better.
Lucy- As a child, I hated this name; I like it well enough now.
Leila- I don't like it.
Evie- I'm neutral, leaning towards dislike.
Grace- I hate it.

Lewis- It's alright. I think I prefer the spelling Louis.
Harvey- I don't like it.
Nicholas- Hmm, I'm neutral, leaning towards like.
Zachary- I don't really like; I prefer Zachariah.
James- I used to be neutral, but I like it now.
Oliver- One of my top boy's names right now.

I really suck at the middle name thing, so I haven't any suggestions, sorry!

My combo suggestions were the first to come to mind for each name.

Madeleine - Love it! Madeleine Hazel.
Amelia - Everyone else seems to love this name, but it has yet to grow on me. Amelia Penelope.
Alicia - Love it! I prefer it pronounced uh-LEE-shuh. Alicia Bryn.
Lucy - Love it! Lucy Tessa.
Evie - Very cute as a nickname, but I'm not sure I like it as a stand-alone. Evie Autumn.
Grace - I don't care how popular this is right now, I love it! Grace Bella.

Lewis - Love it! Lewis Robert.
Harvey - Not a big fan of it. Harvey William.
Nicholas - Love it! Nicholas Reid.
Zachary - When I hear this name I just think of Zack Morris. I don't really care for it. Zachary Weston.
James - Just recovering from an unpleasant association with this name, which I used to love. It's quickly growing on me again. James Randall.
Oliver - Not my usual style, but I like it. Oliver Quentin.

Madeleine--a good name, sadly overused, with such a proliferation of spellings that no one will ever get it right the first time.
Middles: Grace, Ruth, Genevieve

Amelia--sweet, a little trendy, but with the backbone to survive that, I think. Not a personal favorite due to the "eel" sound in the middle.
Middles: Jane, Christine, Penelope, Michelle

Alicia-- I pronounce this ah-LEE-sha. I've also heard al-EE-see-ah, mostly on Hispanic girls. I like it a lot (only with this spelling). I feel like it's cute and friendly, not too common, and ages well.
Middles: Suzanne, Carlotta, Colette, Claire

Lucy-- a personal favorite. I love this kind of sweet, old-fashioned name. This one seems very bright and cheery to me.
Middles: Claire, Elinor, Catherine, Danielle

Leila-- Eric Clapton just started playing in my head. Not a plus, in my book, but honestly I love the sound of this name. It is a very different style from Lucy and Amelia, so just be aware of that.
Middles: Juliana, Nicole, Rhiannon

Evie-- I like it as a nickname for Eve, Evelyn, Evangeline, etc. It's cute but I don't think it stands very well on its own.
Middles: Jane, Rose, Maria

Grace-- the middle name of the decade. I think it would be refreshing to see it as a first name. It has a lovely simplicity that I really like. And the nn Gracie is adorable.
Middles: Susannah, Daniela, Penelope

Lewis-- umm... no. It just seems really dated to me.
Middles: Jonathan, Gregory, Donovan

Harvey-- This is just clunky enough to be cute. I wouldn't use it myself, I don't think it's quite cute enough, but I can see where others might.
Middles: James, Paul, Robert

Nicholas-- You can't go wrong with a classic, and Nicholas is just as classic as John and Michael without being quite as boring.
Middles: Montague, Jacob, Andrew

Zachary-- every other boy in my grade classes was Zack. I still like the energy of the name, but I feel like its time has passed.
Middles: Brendan, Thomas, Landon

James-- another classic. I see this name as having infinite possibilities-- quiet, studious little Jamie, buff soccer star Jimmy, and everything in between. Honestly, it is little "done" for my taste. But no boy is going to be ridiculed for being named James, and that's worth something.
Middles: Patrick, Dominic, Darius

Oliver-- very Neo-Traditionalist, which is the style I lean toward myself. :) It may not be edgy but it's solid and not totally overdone. I like the rhythm of Oliver.
Middles: Miles, Bryden, Nathan

My favorites are Lucy Claire and Oliver Miles.
