2 things...
Dec. 28th, 2009 10:31 amWDYT about the name Porter? It's an old name which makes me like it (my history professor husband informed me that some dude in the Civil War was Porter so-and-so), but it sounds trendy which makes me not like it.
Also, a friend of mine had a baby on Christmas Day and named him Julian George. I like it. Her husband's English so it's quite fitting.

Date: 2009-12-28 10:30 pm (UTC)obviously I like it. like you said, it is an old name, which I like. and it does sound trendy, but I don't think it actually is. thing is, I could see it not being a super common naming but still sounding dated in a few years...there are pros and cons for it, but overall I like it.
