Vara Ann Isbell (last name)
Daniel Aaron Isbell (last name) or switched Aaron Daniel Isbell (last name)

Does is make a difference if the mom's name is Erin? Would Aaron and Erin be weird?

I think Aaron and Erin are weird, but not if Aaron is the middle (not used) name.

Vara Ann is kind of choppy for me.

Maybe it's one of those things that seems off on paper but works in practice. :) Is Vara pronounced Vay-rah or Vah-rahh?

Aaron and Erin is definitely weird to me. Aaron as a middle name would be perfectly fine, though.

I think the Aaron/Erin thing depends where you live. If they sound the same, it would be weird. If they don't, go for it.

That being said, if they *don't* sound the same, then I would expect Aaron and Vara to sound bad together.

I think it's way weird if Aaron was the first name, but not as a middle name.

I think Aaron Daniel flows better and I have absolutely no problem with naming sons after their moms. We've been doing it after dad forever and ever and ever. Seems sexist to say its fine for dad and not for moms.

Not really; I'd just assume the kid was named after his mom.
