I really like the name Audrey but not Aubrey. What about you guys? I don't know why but that B just bothers me.

I dislike both of them, but the B does bother me more, as well.

Same here. Not sure, why, exactly.

I like both of them, and I don't consider them very comparable because Aubrey is a boy's name. Audrey is dark, alluring, and silver, and Aubrey is gentle, kind, light, and archer-y.

For being a "boy's name", Aubrey is fairly high on the girl side of top 1000 baby names list. 42, right now, actually. And it hasn't ranked on the boy's side since 2002. So, I think the public has decided it's at least unisex.

That's true, but I disagree with them.

Yeah I'm with you. Plenty of boys names get used on girls and vice versa but I don't like most of them because I think they sound silly.

I agree. Audrey sounds classy and glam while Aubrey sounds childish : /

I agree...I quite like Audrey, Aubrey on the other hand sounds trashy to me for some reason.

I think Aubrey is alright, actually, but I LOVE Audrey. It's in my top 5 =).

I'm not a big fan of either, but I do prefer Audrey.

Aubrey is usually on boys though, isn't it?

I hate Audrey, but I could probably be convinced to use Aubrey.

Never like Audrey...or Audra for that matter. I'd prefer Aubrey if I had to pick...and I'd prefer it on a girl.

I looooove Audrey. I really want to use it as a first name but my husband doesn't like it enough for that, so it's been slotted as a middle name for us, in the name Carys Audrey.
I am not a fan of Aubrey, though.

I love Audrey. And I used to detest Aubrey, but now I actually kind of like it--and yes, for a girl, not the original masculine use. Aaaggghhh I don't know why!
