New baby at our local hospital: Alexiel. She joins older sisters: Araceli (Celly), Avalie (Ava), Andromache (Annie).

Wow, sounds like an exotic sib set! Mother's name is Helen, father's name is Derrick.

I've aaaallllways hated the name Araceli and it tends to be popularish here. Avalie is eh... don't like it, like Ava though. Adromache? Wtf? I've never heard this before, only Andromeda which I do happen to like. Alexiel is equally as made up as far as I know but it's not THAT bad.

I recognized Andromache as the name of a character from the Homer's Illiad. She was the wife of Hector.

After researching it I must take that back, I never read the Iliad in English so to me she's always been named Adromaca, surprised I didn't catch on to it then either!

Alexiel makes me think of the angel from a manga I used to be obsessed with (Angel Sanctuary).
I kind of like Alexiel and Avalie; I really don't like Andromache.
