Roberta: I've never figured out whether it's pronounced Row-BEAR-tah or Row-BUR-tah in english. It's Row-BEH-rtah in italian. Crimsen: Crimson is a guilty pleasure of mine, but this, no. Nickole: yuck Leonia: NMS, but it could work sometimes Elsie: I like it only a nickname for Elizabeth Pierrette: makes me think of Pierrot, the clown Trina: NMS, there are best nn for Katrina, etc, imo. Leigh Ann: too common combination Merilynne: what was so wrong with Marilyn??? duh Danijela: maybe it's a legit spelling in- don't know- Holland?, but to me it looks wrong. Daniela is just fine. Zora: definitely not bad Morley: sounds like Marley being mispronounced Eszequiel: Ezequiel is less complicate, but this looks like a polish spelling Colby: NMS Wilhelm: it wouldn't occur to me to use it, but it's a refreshing variation to William Lancelot: lol a bit too "arthurian" for my taste. Plus, the "do you lance a lot" joke would run old after a while.
"Elsie" immediately makes me think of Elsie Edwards in the Barthe DeClements series (Nothing's Fair in Fifth Grade, How Do You Lose Those Ninth Grade Blues?, Seventeen and In Between, etc.) which I LOVED as a kid, so I think favorable on this name, lol
I'm with the above commenter who wonders if "Danijela" is a legit spelling in another language...seems to me like it might be...
