Names from dreams!
Dec. 17th, 2009 04:03 pmI love when it happens! lol
I had a dream last night where I'd given birth to a baby girl, and her name was Mary.
When I brought her with me to some relatives' house, my mom introduced her as Veronica May, indicating that she hadn't paid any attention when I'd told her my daughter's name.
WDYT of the names?
I honestly don't where I got them from, Mary is indeed a name that I like, but would never use, and I could say the same about Veronica May, which is even less my style.

Date: 2009-12-17 05:48 pm (UTC)I like Mary. There aren't many Marys born these days so a child would either love it or hate it. I named my daughter a kind of similar name (Jane) and so far I feel good about the choice. There will be some inevitable middle school name teasing but honestly who avoids that? Pretty much any name can be used as teasing fodder.

Date: 2009-12-17 11:06 pm (UTC)Veronica May and Veronica Mary sound good (Mary was my grandmother on the other side)
Veronica is nice. It fits in with my favorite "style" of names, but I prefer Valentina or Victoria for "V" names.
