Here are my top 3 boy names and top 3 girl names. It is a tradition in my family for each child to have 2 middle names, one after the godparent and one chosen just for the child. I'm German, so some of my names are to represent my heritage. And I'm open to suggestions on the second middle names. Wyatt, Wade, Ivan, Elidia, Megan, and Genevieve must stay where they are though. What are your thoughts?

Boys:
Calhen Wade Harrison. (Pronounced Cale-hen.)

Finlay wyatt James. (Finn for nn. I also love the traditional spelling of Finlay (Fionlagh) but am not to sure on what others think of that?)

Florian Ivan Elias. (Ian for nn.)

Girls:
Karin Elidia Eden (Eli as a nn.)

Katja Megan Brooke (To go by either Kati or Megan.

Liesl Genevieve Trinity. (Liesa or Gennie for short. I'm leaning towards Gennie.)

I don't think you'd ever get anyone to prn. Calhen as Calehen.

I like: Wyatt, Elias and Genevieve. I'm not a huge fan of Finlay but it's ok.

I prefer Liesel and actually, I really love that name.

I love James, Elias, and Liesl. I've not heard Elidia before, but I like it. I like Genevieve, too, and Trinity is a GP name for me (its a local river that is very polluted so I'll never get to use it lol). I don't mind Finlay and, although I love traditional spellings, unless you're in Ireland, no one will ever be able to pronounce Fionlagh. I actually prefer Finnian to Finlay, though.

Hannelore is my new favorite German name.

I love your name choices, specially for the boys!

The only one I am not big on is Calhen but I looove:

Finlay Wyatt James (and I love the spelling Fionlagh but not sure if he'd have to spell it out all the time as he got older... unless you live in Germany? and plan on raising your kids there)

Florian Ivan Elias. (Ian for nn.) (thought I like the previous better)

Karin Elidia Eden is my favorite of the girl names, followed by Liesl Genevieve Trinity and finally Katja Megan Brooke.

Calhen Wade Harrison - The only of these names I like is Harrison, but the combo has a really nice sound to it. You'll have problems getting people to pronounce Calhen that way since it's not how you'd say it in English.

Finlay Wyatt James - Again, nice flowing combo. I love Finlay and James, but loathe Wyatt. I do like Fionnlagh (never seen it with only one n before) a lot, and would be very very tempted to spell it that way!

Florian Ivan Elias - My least favorite of the three. The rhythm is a little too up and down and I don't really like any of the names. I love Ian, though.

Karin Elidia Eden - Not a huge fan, and I don't like Eli for a girl, even if it is just a nn.

Katja Megan Brooke - Cool. I'd use Kat as a nn, although kind of funny since Katja is a nn already.

Liesl Genevieve Trinity - The first two names are great, but Trinity is so tacky it ruins the combo for me. I don't think Liesa is necessary at all... it's almost the same as Liesl anyway.

I've never heard of Calhen, but I kind of like it. I think the whole combo has a really nice flow.
I also think Finlay Wyatt James sounds really good too.

The rest I'm not in love with so I offered suggestions on the second middle as you said could be done. I tried to offer a few different styles.

I agree with the poster that said the sounds are too up and down in Florian Ivan Elias, and I don't care for Ian.
Suggestions: Florian Ivan James, Florian Ivan Joshua, Florian Ivan Cole, Florian Ivan Delaney, Florian Ivan Gerard

I don't like Karin or Eden, but I like Elidia. I don't like Eli or really care for the combo as a whole.
Suggestions: Karin Elidia Lenore, Karin Elidia Margaret, Karin Elidia Noel, Karin Elidia Jane, Karin Elidia Deirdre

I looove Katja, but I prefer it on its own or as a nickname for Ekaterina. I don't think it needs a nickname, especially since it really already is one. I guess the combo flows okay, but Katja really stands out as different from the other two names. I see Megan and Brooke as very dated as well.
Suggestions: Katja Megan Jane, Katja Megan Claire, Katja Megan Amelia, Katja Megan Rain, Katja Megan Laurel

I don't like the combo Liesl Genevieve Trinity. Liesl is okay. Genevieve is really pretty. Trinity sounds a bit...low class to me. I don't know why. I know Genevieve is unmovable, but I really think Genevieve Liesl Trinity would sound sooo much better.
Suggestions: Liesl Genevieve Louise, Liesl Genevieve Jane (I like Jane, lol), Liesl Genevieve Lenore, Liesl Genevieve Sage, Liesl Genevieve Kara

Where did Calhen come from? It's certainly not German, and I find it's not intuitively pronounced in either language.

Florian Ivan Elias is beautiful! I really, really like that. Finlay James Wyatt is pretty too, and Katja Megan Brooke has a nice flow to it. I prefer Karen over Karin, personally, and I'm not a fan of the last combo...just personal taste. But no bad names at all!

First, why so many middle names? I can see it if there are some family names that you're trying to honor, but why not pick one middle that you really love? There isn't even room on forms to write two middle names.

Calhen Wade Harrison. (Pronounced Cale-hen.) - It's going to be a tough sell to get people to pronounce it correctly. What do you think about Declan as an alternative? Wade and Harrison are nice names.

Finlay wyatt James. (Finn for nn. I also love the traditional spelling of Finlay (Fionlagh) but am not to sure on what others think of that?) - Finlay strikes me as a feminine spelling. I don't love Wyatt but James is nice. I actually think James Finn or James Fionlagh sounds great.

Florian Ivan Elias. (Ian for nn.) - Florian also sounds a bit feminine to me. Why not just Ian if that is the name you'd use? Ivan Elias = nice. You could even drop the Florian altogether and just go with Ivan Elias or Elias Ivan.

Girls:
Karin Elidia Eden (Eli as a nn.) - Why have Karin as a first if Eli is the nickname? Elidia as a first would be lovely. Eden is kinda trendy for my taste.

Katja Megan Brooke (To go by either Kati or Megan) - Katja is already a nickname so I am not sure about that. What about Katherine or Käthe? Megan and Brooke sound very dated, but with a classic first like Katherine they are redeemable I think.

Liesl Genevieve Trinity. (Liesa or Gennie for short. I'm leaning towards Gennie.) - I like Liesl Genevieve. If you dropped the Trinity it would be lovely! And I don't think Liesl needs a nickname...I am not a big fan of a nickname being derived from the middle name. I knew an Anneliese growing up who went by Liese/Lisa. That would be another option for you instead of Liesl, with even more nickname choices.

It's my personal opinion that one middle name is enough. I was just sharing my thoughts, since you asked for them.

I don't think any of the combinations flow easily.

some of your nicknames are confusing to me. like "ian" being short for "florian". i've never heard that before. i also like a lot of the full names better than the nicknames (ex: genevieve vs. gennie).
