Honestly, my son doesn't even know what his middle names are, heh. But no, these conversations have always taken place later at night after he's in bed. And conversations is putting it lightly, it's more like a rant were he makes fun of them, and rednecks, or at least deep south southerns, and I just shrug and tell him they are namesakes that were important to my mom, and after he's done saying the names are retarded or stupid he says my mom is retarded/stupid.

WOW, that really makes him sound like an a-hole, huh? hahaha. Well, he kinda is, or at least really can be at times, but I can't completely disagree about my mom, I just wish he didn't have such a passionate hatred for "Rafe Bodien" is it really THAT bad? Rafe and Bodien are brothers. Good guys overall that mean a lot to my mom.

you need divorce papers... the name isn't that bad and you even seem to like them... tell your husband that. Also, tell him to stop being an ass to your mother and to names you picked... they were your children before his and he may love them but trust me... marriages that have no respect usually end up in divorce anyway...
