[identity profile] tinylittlestars.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
I'm doing the cabin assignments for our week long winter-camp which is running in 10 days...

Most of them have pretty plain names, but there are a handful of interesting ones (mainly amongst the girls) and quite a few double-ups!

Here they are, oldest (13) to youngest (8), girls and then boys.

Madeleine
Emily
Jaala
Tamar
Jessica
Rachele
Kiara-Bear  - WTF?!?! Seriously, what WERE her parents thinking. (Oh, and Tamar is her sister)
Mikaeli
Mia
Allison
Annie-Rose
Stephanie
Sarah
Tia
Kayla
Mikaela
Rhyannah

Harrison
Nicholas
Zac
William
Matthew
Caleb
Aaron
Alex
Ben
Justin
Oliver
Dylan
Bradley
David
Damian
Reuban
Tim
Tom
Daniel
Daniel
Daniel

(I feel sorry for the leaders of the youngest boys cabin, who have Tim, Tom and 3 Daniel's!!)

Kiara-Bear? Is it just Kiara or Kiara-BEAR? As in bear is with her actual name? I like Kiara though...

I think Mikaeli is adorable.

Kiara ia normal name and it is not unusual to name your child bear where I live (in Scandinavia--but Bear is used for boys), but Kiara Bear just reminds me of Care Bear.

Kiara-Bear is certainly interesting. It's such a normal sounding affectionate nn, but so odd as a given name. Unless like another poster said, it's a Scandinavian thing... or a family name? Who knows.

Rhyannah gets my vote for worst.

Me too. There was a girl named Tamar in my kindergarten class, and I've always liked it.

Annie-Rose is very cute, but I can't picture that on an adult.
But it IS adorable for a little girl :)
