I was watching True Life on MTV and there was these two women having twins. One was having twin boys and the other one twin boys, they both happened to have an elder child of the same sex as the twins. Here are the sib sets:

Boys:

Carson - about 4 years old

Cole and Cooper - twins

As much as I think the repeating C is kind of eh... I like that Cooper and Cole aren't so alike and the names are alright in my book.

Girls:

Armonie - about 6 years old

Arneessa and Arnissa - twins

Oh dear gods... they are pronounced Uhr-NEE-suh and Urh-NEYE-suh... those poor children...

And just for fun, what would you name your same sex twins?

I know some people would just pick the top two names on their list but I would looove to have twins named Una Elena* and Olivia Alcyone. As for boys, they do get my top two boy picks: Apollo _____ and Castor Gavin (yes, I like stars and constellations and my son Castor will probably hate me if we live in a spanish speaking country, he can share the hate with his sister Una xD)

*family name tradition in my family, first born daughter gets her grandmother's middle name (or name as a middle name). Elena is my mother's middle name and her grandmother's middle name.

I saw that episode a few months ago and the Arneessa/Arnissa thing totally blew my mind. WHY would anyone do that?

Twin girls for me would just get my top 2 girls names in general. Twin boys would get my first and third picks for boys' names, because I don't think my 2nd choice goes will as a twin with my first choice.
Girls: Zia Violet & Carys Audrey
Boys: Jude Caleb & Oliver James

Elias Wilson.
Something about "Jude and Elias" or "Elias and Jude" just doesn't sound as nice to my ears as "Jude and Oliver" or "Oliver and Jude".

I love the name Elias.I think it sound weird with my last name so I'll probably never use it but it's one of my favorites.

It was sort of a compromise between my husband and myself. He really likes the name Eli, but I just don't like it as a stand-alone name, so Elias satisfies both of us.
