Name ideas
Nov. 24th, 2009 12:29 amSo, we do have a name picked out for our baby (girl) but it's more of a default name. We're not set on it, and nothing else has screamed out to us. When we picked our first daughter's name it was set in stone, as soon as we came across it on our list we knew that that was the name, nothing else would compare. So this time around, we're really lost. It seems we've both been thinking the same thing, but haven't said anything until just now. My husband wants me to look for another name, and I will search myself, but I have already gone through hundreds of names and nothing has stood out, and the only two that I really like myself (Ava and Leila) he really doesn't like, so they are out of the question.
If it helps any, she will be joining Elijah and Amelia.
Obviously I have a thing for the -ah ending sound, it's not on purpose, but especially for girls, I like a really pretty feminine sounding name.
Edit:
I'll also add that we have a long German last name- starting sound 'Gray' and ending sound 'eel'

I tried to include a few names that have 'l', 'ee', and 'i' sounds. That way you still have the same sounds without being too matchy with having the same ending on all three names. Personally, I like Gwendolyn the best with the other two names that you have but that's just me.
