[identity profile] lil-devil-18.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
Im pregnant and we are starting to think baby names. If its a boy the middle name will be Craig after the father, if it is a girl the middle name will be Louisa like me.

WDYT?

Riley Craig (Rhiley?)
Hayden Craig
Jayson Craig

Talia Louisa
Kaylee Louisa

oooh lol you're not going to get a lot of love here... and I will be honest and say the boy's names Riley is alright, spelled like that though, it doesn't need an extra h in there. Jason is not my style but I muuuch rather it spelled right, no need for an extra y. I don't like Hayden at all so that's a no no for me.

Talia is alright, not my favorite name but it's good. I really dislike Kaylee though.

Of course this is your child and I can only offer opinions and honestly the names aren't horrible like 'OMG Imma name my baby Haeediyen!' and well congratulations on the birth of your future son or daughter =)

Riley and Hayden aren't bad. I prefer Jason spelled like that, no y.
Talia is pretty although not my style of name, but I don't like Kaylee.

I wouldn't use the names myself, but I do rather like the sound of Talia Louisa. It's pretty. All of the boy names sound good with Craig, but Hayden is the only one I actually like.

Don't wanna be rude, but what's with the Y and H fest? The sound is not going to change just because you add another letter, so what's the point?

Anyway, Jason Craig (properly spelled) sounds nice. As for the girl names, I think Talia Louise flows better than Louisa, and Kaylee Louisa a bit of a tongue twister. Is there are significance to the middle names? Are they family names or something? Because Louisa Kaylee sounds nice, if you don't mind changing the name order.

Geez, don't know how I could have missed that. So, there is a significance. Would you have any problems naming her Louisa Kaylee and calling her Kaylee?

I like Hayden and Jayson better than Riley.

The first names for a girl aren't my style. I don't like or dislike them, but I looove the name Louisa!

Other commenters are right, you need to excise the superfluous letters; but Louisa and Craig are lovely.

Talia Louisa ends with the same sound so it's not as aurally pleasing to me as Kaylee. I vote Kaylee for the girl, and Hayden for the boy.

i don't really like any of them =/ i think riley is okay, but it's so, so, so common these days.

i would suggest using nymbler.com. it's a site where you can put in names you like and new ones, based on your naming style, will be suggested to you. it's really cool!

Riley is okay for a boy, but please don't use Rhiley.
Hayden (and all those -ayden names) is really overused, but probably the best of what you listed.
Jayson with a Y looks awful.

Made-up spellings aren't cute, nor do they make the child anymore unique.

Talia Louisa is a mouthful to say.
I don't like Kaylee, but it sounds better with Louisa.

Riley (this spelling) Craig is my favorite boys' name you've listed.

Hayden Craig isn't horrible, but with all the -ayden names, he'll likely have 5 other boys in his class with the same or a rhyming name. If you don't mind that, go for it.

If you're open to suggestions, I think Jason Craig would be lovely.

I love Talia Louisa. I think Talia Louise would sound better, but I do like it as is.

I am not a fan of Kaylee in any form.

Riley Craig (Rhiley?) I prefer Riley, although I don't really care for it.
Hayden Craig- I don't like Hayden. Too much like Aiden and all that
Jayson Craig- I prefer it spelled Jason, but out of all three I like this the best.

Talia Louisa- Talia is pretty. Louisa wouldn't be my first choice to go with it, but it's not bad. I think Talia Louise sounds prettier, but I understand that you want to use Louisa because it's your name.
Kaylee Louisa- I don't like Kaylee or any other spelling of it at all.

I do like how you want to use either your name or the father's name as middle names. That's a nice idea. And both Craig and Louisa are fine names :)

I'm not a fan of Riley but it isn't terrible.
I'm not a fan of Hayden, BUT it is the best out of the -den ending trend right now... I don't know, I just really have this hate towards the -den ending names right now.
Jason, spelled right, is still not my favorite.

Talia Louisa doesn't flow well with the -a endings on both names.
And I really dislike Kaylee. It ages horribly.

I do LOVE Louisa and Craig is a good middle name.

I like Riley (absolute no on Rhiley).
I'm indifferent to Hayden and Jayson (prefer Jason).
I don't like either girls name.

Echoing what everyone else said, I'd avoid unnecessary Ys and Hs. I think Riley Craig and Jason Craig are very nice. I don't know how concerned you are about popularity, but this birth announcement list (http://community.livejournal.com/baby_names/4699939.html) is a good example of why you may want to avoid the -ayden trend.

I love Louisa but Talia Louisa is kind of tongue twister-y.

RILEY, not Rhiley!
Hayden is nice. It's the only -ayden name I like.
Jason has always been one of my favorite boy's names. I dislike it spelled Jayson.
I don't like Talia, but at least it's spelled correctly.
I like Kaylee, but I prefer it spelled Kaley.

Riley Craig is nice. Spelling it Rhiley looks a little ridiculous... sorry. Hayden and Jayson are both nice.

Talia is very nice, I also like Kaylee, but it doesn't seem to flow right with Louisa.

Some suggestions:
Jace
David
Daniel
Nathaniel/Nate

Kelsey
Kaelyn/Kaylin

Of your boy's choices Riley (NOT Rhiley). Of your girl's choices, Talia.

Congratulations on the incoming little one!
