(no subject)

I met a 3 year old named Azalea nn Zaley the other day.

I kind of like it, but I think it might be because she's freaking adorable.

Also, my good friend had a baby girl yesterday, Addison Brooke. NMS, but I guess it could be worse.

WDYT?

I kinda like Azalea, but I think it's more of a guilty pleasure.

I do not like Addison on girls at all.

I do like Azalea, although it's not on my list of absolute favorites.
I don't care for Addison and I strongly dislike Brooke. I'll admit that Brooke is a ton better than Brookelynne and the like, but seeing Brooke makes me think of that.

Azalea/Zaley is cute as flower names go.

I know someone who had an Addison this week too! I don't like it at all. :P But I think Addy is an okay nickname (I'd prefer it as a nn for Adelaide though!).

this exactly

I like Azalea and Addison but hate Brooke.

I don't care for Azalea as a name
maybe Chrysanthemum instead

you realize I'm kidding...
Addison is cute; I wouldn't choose it personally

I once read a book about a little mouse named Chrysanthemum. She loves her name, but when she goes to school her classmates tease her for it. Eventually she learns that her name is special and wonderful!

...sorry, off topic, but your comment reminded me of that. :)

I met an older lady (say, over 50) a few weeks ago named Chrysanthemum. She said just to call her Chrys.

I kind of like Azalea. And my husband actually likes it too--which is a shocker, because we never agree on names! I just don't like the nickname Zaley.

Addison is not my style at all, and I do not like it on girls. But I do like Brooke, and you're right, it could be much worse! It's just very trendy, that's all.

Oh man, Addison Brooke is so trendy. But at least it is spelled correctly. :)

I still don't understand why people want to name their daughters something that means "son of adam."

Azalea/Zaley is cute.

I like Azalea, but it's kind of a guilty pleasure for me. I actually really like Brooke, popularity and all, but I'm not a fan of Addison.

Azalea with nn as Zaley is a name that I'm going to be considering in a couple of months :)

And Addison Brooke? Addison is a boy's name.
