Joey Lawrence, who already has a 3.5 year old daughter named Charleston is expecting a second daughter with his wife. This new baby girl's name will be Liberty Grace.

I feel like Charleston is kind of a cool name, but I'd never use it and especially not on a girl. And I guess they could always call Liberty "Libby".

Thoughts?

Charleston makes me think of the dance, and then of Carlton from "Fresh Prince" doing the Carlton dance. In that order. At any rate, I think it would be a cool middle name, but it's not something I'd use as a first name.

I agree that Charleston would make a better middle name. I guess I could sort of see it as a first name for a boy (Charlie?) but it's a stretch either way.

I know a little girl named Liberty (Libby). I think associations work the other way, too. Seeing the name makes me think of her, and it works in her case, but I would never use it. If I did not personally know her, I would probably not like the name even a little bit.

Charleston sound so masculine. And I don't like Liberty Grace at all. Libby would be a cute nickname though.

I hate Charleston. And for a girl?! Yeah... I really don't like that.

I do like Liberty, though. I like virtue names a lot, but I think Liberty Grace is too much.

Liberty is one of my favorite names! I don't like Grace with it, though... too many virtues. Charleston is not my style.
