As you all probably know, my number one girls name is Valentina. From my last post about it, I've gathered that some love it, some hate it, and some never heard it before/didn't know it was even a name, and aren't nuts about it. Anyway, if I were ever going to use it, I'd like to use May for the middle name, since that was my grandmother's name. Any thoughts? any other middle names for Valentina? I really like Valentina May but I'm curious about some other middle names.
number one boy's name- Nathaniel Eric. (Eric is my dad's mn)

I like all nickname possibilities for these names. Nate, Tina, Val, etc. They are all alright with me. Also, it's worth a mention that both names sound good with our last name. but we are not having kids anytime soon. It's just fun to select names. It's something I've been doing since I was a kid. I remember the first name I got hooked on when I was like 5 years old in 1985 was Amy Lynn. I swore up and down that I would have a child by this name. LOL.

I think Valentina May is a gorgeous combo. It's very sweet and feminine. It's good that you like nns for it because that's a big negative for me with it. I guess Val is okay, but I loathe Tina.

Nathaniel Eric is just meh. I'm not really a fan of either name, but they're common enough you can't really go wrong. I'd like Nat or Niel as nns better than Nate, but Nate's alright.

Amy is cute, but Amy Lynn is pretty dated. Ah, the names we want to use when we're little! I think my first one was Samantha when I was in like 3rd grade. Blech. And for a boy I think it was Stephen. Heh.

I love Valentina May. Valentina is such a beautiful name and honoring your grandmother by using her name as the middle name is wonderful.

Valentina May is a gorgeous name. I don't like the nns though. :\ I would prefer Lena (prn. len-uh instead of lay-nuh), but if you like them, that's what counts.

I like Nathaniel. I'm neutral on Eric. I think they make a nice combination as well though. I like Nate and also Nat and Thaniel for nicknames.

The first time I picked out names was in third grade. Samantha Sarah and Tabitha Ashley. First names from Bewitched and middle names my two best friends.

I think Valentina May is lovely. Tina isn't my favorite nickname but I think you can avoid it since there other obvious nickname possibilities. Teeny or Tiny is cuter than Tina IMO, and Val is the most obvious/logical choice. Anyway, I also like Nathaniel. It's on our list and has a high likelihood of being used if we have a boy. I like all the nicknames for it (Nate, Nat) except Thaniel (I grew up with a boy who used that nickname, blahhh). But that's just a personal association.

Valentina May is really lovely. I'm normally not a huge fan of Valentina because it seems a bit over the top but when paired with May I think it's just this perfect balance of fancy and down-to-earth, if that makes any sense.

Valentina May is pretty, I like!

Also, Amy Lynn is my cousin's name. And she was born in--surprise, surprise--1980.
