I don't know how famous Wayne and Coleen Rooney are outside of the UK - he's a footballer (soccer) and she's...famous for being married to a footballer.

Anyway, they had a baby boy today:

Kai Wayne Rooney.

I really like Kai! The first article I saw said they'd chosen a unique name, so I was worried, but Kai is not particularly unusual and definitely not Yu-ni'iq. Wayne I think is hideous, but at least it's just his middle name.

I may be an utter geek but it's been making me think of Kai Winn (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winn_Adami) from DS9 every time I hear it. I don't like Kai at all anyway, it sounds made up to me.

Kai is a name I never understood but it's slowly growing on me. Not to the point where I'd ever use it but I kinda like it now.
