Longer version of Eva
Nov. 1st, 2009 01:02 pmI really like the name Eva but I think it's too short. So I'm looking for a longer version that would use Eva as a nickname. The only one I can think of is Evalyn which I'm not a huge fan of.
Any ideas?

Date: 2009-11-01 11:53 pm (UTC)I was also going to suggest Genevieve or Annevieva, but I'm not really fond of either of them. I like Evelyn ok, and Evangeline is cute. Just Eva is still my favorite. :)
Maybe pair with with a middle name/second first name, like Mary Jane, and then technically Eva can still be a nickname? Like, Eva Jane, Eva Lisette, Eva Maribel, Eva Maeve, Eva Pearl, Eva Josette, Eva Rose, Eva Marie, Eva Louse(a), etc. etc.?

Evania
Evangeline
Pairing sounds really good (love love love Eva Jane), but Eva works fine on its own. It's currently my favourite name.

Anna Paige
Hayley Rose
Even my own grandmother goes by the first-middle Mary Ellen. I think Eva is a lovely name on its own and sounds great with a one-syllable middle.
