I decided to go through my Facebook friends-list and list some of the names of people who go by their first and middle names, at least on FB. WDYT? People on this list were born between 1983 and 1990, with the exception of Elliot, who is actually a miniature dachshund and was born within the last three years. Also, he is lovely.

Does Farin rhyme with Erin? I kind of like it. I also like how both Phoebes on this list have flowery middle names. :)

Wait, so Erin and Karen don't rhyme themselves? How are you saying them?

I don't think I can make my mouth say them that way, lol. To me, they're air-in and kair-in.

Is YAHN-na how it's generally supposed to be pronounced, or is that just how you prefer it? I'm friends with a Janna, but it's pronounced...well, how it looks I guess. JAN-na.

Janna is a Dutch name-- feminie of Jan. In English it would of course be JAN-a and just be an elaboration of Jan (the feminine name), but I think the other pronunciation is much prettier.

Janna is one of my top 5 favorite names. (Pronounced JANN-uh, not YAHN-uh.)
