My friends just named their baby Stilletto (like the shoe)- it's a boy. Am I crazy or is this name a little out there?

Maybe... maybe if it was a girl.
For a boy though.. that is just a little bit weird. :)

Stiletto is also a kind of knife, but that doesn't make me feel any better about naming a PERSON (or animal for that matter) that.

That name really makes me cry for the poor kid.

Imagine all the teasing he is going to have to endure!

If you think of the dagger (which the shoe was named after) instead of the shoe it's less bad.

I knew someone who called his (evil) cat Stiletto (her brother was called Bloodfang.) THAT was funny. This is just horrifying.

Even if it was a dagger first, I only see a stiletto as a shoe, so I could only name a girl that. I actually like it for a girl.

I don't exactly support eugenics, you know... but some people really make me question that devotion to life and freedom.

I have NO idea what they were thinking with this one- when they told me it was stunned silence. his middle name is monroe.
